About us ArtKids — The world of inspiration and children's creativity

ArtKids is a drawing studio created especially for children, where every young artist can show their imagination and develop creative skills. Art is not only the ability to draw, but also a powerful tool for self-expression, development of imagination and self-confidence.

History of ArtKids

ArtKids Studio was born from a sincere desire to give children the opportunity to reveal their creative potential. The founders of the studio, passionate about art since childhood, have long dreamed of creating a place where children can feel like real artists, regardless of their level of training.

The idea to create ArtKids arose when the founders of the studio, visiting various art workshops and exhibitions, noticed that children are not always given enough attention in developing their creative skills. While many programs focus on academic success, art remained on the periphery, although it is so important for the formation of creative thinking and self-expression.

Inspired by traveling the world and studying various educational approaches in the field of art, they decided to create a studio that would combine modern and traditional approaches to teaching drawing, making it accessible and interesting for every child. In 2019, after months of preparation and development of unique programs, ArtKids opened its doors.

From the very beginning, the goal of the studio was not just to teach children to draw, but to inspire them to express themselves and develop their imagination. Thanks to the support of parents, partners and, of course, talented teachers, our studio quickly became popular among families who were looking for not just art classes for their children, but a real place for creativity.

Today, ArtKids studio is more than just drawing lessons. It is a space where children can experiment, learn from their mistakes, find inspiration and share their ideas with others. We are proud that over the course of several years of existence, we have become a place where little artists grow and develop, discovering the world of art with joy and interest.

Our experienced teachers are mentors who help children to reveal their creative potential.

How our teachers make learning unique:

Individual approach: We understand that each child has their own rhythm and level of preparation. Teachers select tasks in accordance with the interests and capabilities of students, helping everyone to feel successful.

Inspiration through creativity: Our teachers not only teach drawing techniques, but also share their love for art. They motivate children to experiment with color, shapes and styles, develop their imagination and find their own artistic language.

Support and motivation: An important part of learning is support. Teachers are always ready to help, prompt, praise for efforts and achievements, creating self-confidence in children.

Interactive lessons: We involve children in the process of creating art through games, creative tasks and teamwork. This makes classes fun and helps each child actively participate in the process.

Developing Critical Thinking: Teachers teach children to analyze their work, see opportunities for improvement, and look at art from different perspectives.

At ArtKids, children learn to draw, but more importantly, they learn to believe in themselves and see the world through the prism of creativity.

Entertaining drawing lessons for children of all ages and skill levels

At ArtKids Studio, we create programs that are suitable for children of different ages and skill levels, from the youngest beginners to teenagers with advanced artistic abilities. Our lessons are aimed not only at developing drawing techniques, but also at ensuring that each child finds a source of inspiration and joy in the process of creating art.

Features of our lessons:

A playful approach for kids (4-6 years): For the youngest, lessons are built through play and interaction with materials. We start with simple shapes and colors, introducing children to basic techniques through fun and exciting tasks. Here, children can color, finger paint, sculpt from plasticine — this creates an atmosphere of freedom and experimentation.

Development of techniques for younger students (7-12 years): At this stage, children begin to learn the basics of drawing, composition, working with color and texture. We teach them to observe the world around them, to put their impressions on paper, and to work with different materials, from pencils to watercolors and gouache. The lessons include working with still lifes, landscapes, simple subjects and characters, which helps to develop their artistic vision.

Advanced Techniques for Teens (13+): For older students, we offer in-depth lessons that focus on different artistic styles, complex techniques and individual development. Here, teenagers can try themselves in different areas: graphics, watercolors, acrylics, portrait and object drawing, illustration. We also offer portfolio creation assistance for those who plan to continue their studies at an art school or college.

Support at every stage: We work with children, starting with the simplest, and gradually complicate the tasks so that each child feels confident and successful. At ArtKids, children learn not only to draw, but also to reveal their inner world through art. We are sure that every child is talented, and our task is to help them find their own unique creative path.

A friendly and supportive atmosphere where every child feels free and comfortable

At ArtKids Studio, we pay special attention to creating an atmosphere in which children can not only learn, but also feel completely liberated and confident. We understand that for a full-fledged creative process, it is important that the child is not afraid to make a mistake, experiment and try new things. That is why our lessons are held in a warm, friendly environment, where everyone feels supported and respected.

The main aspects of our atmosphere:

Friendly communication: Our teachers are always friendly to children, which creates a trusting and comfortable environment. We actively encourage feedback: children can freely ask questions, discuss their ideas, and teachers support their interests and offer new creative opportunities.

No pressure and assessments: At ArtKids, we do not set the task of assessing children's work from the position of "right" or "wrong". Every child is unique, and their creative path is also individual. We do not limit students with strict frameworks and standards, giving them the opportunity to draw at their own pace and style. This relieves stress and allows children to enjoy the creative process.

Support and motivation: We believe that art is not only a result, but also a process. Therefore, even if something does not work out the first time, teachers always support children and help them to keep trying. This helps to build self-confidence and form an attitude towards drawing as a joyful and educational process, and not as an obligation.

Comfortable space for creativity: Our studio is equipped in such a way that children feel free and can work calmly with materials. We create a cozy and creative environment where there are no strict rules on how to sit or behave. Children can choose their places, work at easels or on tables, move around the studio if they need more space for creativity.

Teamwork and respect for others: We create conditions for team projects where children can collaborate, helping each other and creating collective works. This develops communication skills and respect for other people's creativity. At the same time, each child feels that their work is important, and no one judges them for mistakes.

Inspiring environment: A creative atmosphere reigns within the walls of our studio. Our teachers show examples of world art, inspiring works of other children and help to see art in everything that surrounds them. This creates a positive, inspirational atmosphere where a child can reveal his or her potential and search for new ideas.

At ArtKids studio, each child feels not just a student, but a creator. We believe that in an atmosphere of friendliness, support and freedom, true talents are revealed, and this is exactly the kind of environment we create for all our students.

Individual approach to each student: we reveal talents and learn through play

At ArtKids Studio, we are convinced that every child is unique and requires a special approach. That is why in our classes we create conditions in which each student can develop their abilities at their own pace and in their own style. We understand that it is important not only to teach drawing techniques, but also to reveal the child's natural talents, supporting them at every stage of learning.

How we implement an individual approach:

Assessment of interests and skills: During the first lesson, our teachers get to know each student and their hobbies. We listen carefully to the children to understand what they like, what topics inspire them. This allows us to structure lessons so that they reflect their interests - be it nature, cartoon characters, abstract forms or something else. We take into account the child’s level of preparation to select tasks that are both exciting and feasible.

Tasks by level of preparation: Each child is at their own stage of development, and we structure lessons to match their skills. If the child is just starting out, we focus on the basics - teaching them to work with simple shapes, lines and colours. For those who already have experience, we offer more complex tasks - practicing technique, studying composition, complex colour transitions and textures. This helps everyone feel progress and confidence in their abilities.

A playful approach to learning: Learning through play is an important part of our process. We know that children learn best when they are engaged and enjoy the process. That’s why our lessons include creative games, competitions and group tasks that help children feel involved and interested.

Examples of playful methods:

Creative challenges: We offer children tasks like “paint a landscape using only three colors” or “create your own fantasy character.” This stimulates their imagination and allows them to learn through experimentation.

Team projects: Children can work in small groups to create joint works of art. This develops their communication and collaboration skills and helps them exchange ideas.

Creative freedom: Children can choose their own topics for their works within the lessons, which gives them the opportunity to express their own thoughts and emotions.

Encouraging independence: We encourage children to experiment and try new approaches without fear of mistakes. Teachers support children in expressing themselves through art, letting their imagination run wild and learning through trial and error. This helps children become more confident in their abilities.

Feedback and support: Our teachers always give positive and constructive feedback. We don’t just evaluate the result, but discuss the process, highlighting successes and offering ideas for further development. This creates a supportive atmosphere where children feel comfortable and motivated to continue developing.

Flexibility of the program: We do not have a rigid lesson plan - we flexibly adapt tasks and techniques to each child. If someone is more interested in abstraction, and another is into realistic drawing, we take this into account when planning lessons. This allows each child to find their own direction in art.

An individual approach to each student is the key to not only successful learning, but also the joy of creativity. Our lessons help children discover their talents through playing and experimenting, which makes the learning process easy and enjoyable.

Various techniques: from pencil drawing to working with watercolors, gouache and acrylic. We immerse children in different types of art, from classics to modern styles

At ArtKids Studio, we pay special attention to developing children's creative skills through introducing them to a variety of techniques and styles. Our classes are not limited to just basic techniques, we strive to provide children with a wide range of opportunities for self-expression, teaching them to work with different materials and art styles.

Techniques that children study:

Pencil drawing: Pencil is the basis for many types of art. We teach children to create lines, shadows, hatching, and study the basics of perspective and composition. In the process of working with a pencil, children develop precision and attention to detail, starting with simple sketches and gradually moving on to more complex drawings.

Watercolor: Working with watercolors helps children learn to feel color, lightness, and transparency of paint. We teach the basics of working with water and pigment, mixing colors, creating soft transitions, and textured effects. Watercolor teaches children to be more patient and to work with light, airy brushstrokes.

Gouache: Gouache is a bright and saturated medium that allows children to experiment with colors and create dense, rich works. We show how to work with gouache to create vibrant illustrations, landscapes, and narrative compositions. Gouache gives more freedom in correcting mistakes and creating spectacular, painterly works.

Acrylic: Acrylic paints are a great medium for exploring modern styles and techniques. We teach children to work with acrylic on canvas, wood, or paper, showing how to create voluminous, textured works. Acrylic allows children to quickly create spectacular, saturated paintings using various brushes, palette knives, and even sponges to create interesting effects.

Pastel: Pastel is a unique technique that combines drawing and painting. We teach children to work with both oil and dry pastels, creating soft transitions and detailed drawings. Pastels allow for easy mixing of colors and experimentation with texture.

Explore different styles:

Classical Art: We immerse children in the world of classical art, where they study such styles as realism and impressionism. Based on these styles, children learn to carefully observe the world and convey it on paper or canvas using various techniques.

Modern Styles: In addition to the classics, we actively explore modern art movements such as abstractionism, pop art and expressionism. This gives children freedom of expression, allowing them to experiment with shapes, colors and styles that reflect their own feelings and ideas.

Illustration and Cartoon Style: We also offer lessons in creating illustrations and cartoon characters. Children can try their hand at creating bright, dynamic images, learning to convey movement, emotions and characters through drawing.

Graphics: Children are introduced to the basics of graphics, where they learn to use line, contour and shadows to create expressive black and white or color works. This direction helps to develop a sense of composition and proportion.

At ArtKids Studio, children not only receive basic knowledge of drawing techniques, but also gain experience working with different art materials and styles, which helps them become versatile and confident in their creativity.

Come to us at ArtKids Studio, and together we will open for your child the magical world of art, full of bright colors, ideas and possibilities!
